My success story
I struggled with obesity all my life. As a medical student, I began studying about the effects of obesity on long-term health, and I decided to pursue weight-loss surgery.
I lost over 100 lbs, and learned so much during that journey. I connect with bariatric patients on a deeper level, and can speak from experience, both as a patient and professional. Being a patient has truly made me a better doctor.
